The Ukrainian Red Cross Society is a non-profit humanitarian organisation that has been a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies since 1993. It manages disaster response, healthcare services, and activities that protect human dignity. As HEROIC BREAKING NEWS reported earlier, emergency volunteers from the group previously set up assistance points and assisted rescue workers in Kharkiv following strikes in early October. [2][5][6]

Russian attacks against Ukrainian civilian areas have continuously exposed populations to harm since 2022.
