HEROIC BREAKING NEWS
Terms of use
Last updated 6 October 2026
1. What the site is
HEROIC BREAKING NEWS gathers headlines from publishers’ public feeds and publishes its own short reports about them. The site is free to read. Some features (comments, the daily email, publishing a paid article, advertising) have further terms below.
The site runs on a news platform provided and hosted by Daft Planet Media LLC. 5 railway terrace is the publisher: it decides what the site covers, and anything sold here is sold by 5 railway terrace, not by Daft Planet Media LLC.
2. How our reports are made, and their limits
Our reports are written with the help of artificial intelligence from published sources, which are listed at the foot of each report so you can check them. We work to make them accurate, but software can make mistakes, sources can be wrong, and events move on after a report is written. Reports are general information, not professional advice of any kind (legal, medical, financial or otherwise), and you should not rely on them as your only source for a decision that matters. If you see an error, write to marco@marcorobinson.com and we will correct it.
Video reports are read by AI-generated presenters with computer voices, and say so on screen.
3. Other publishers’ material
Headlines, pictures and trademarks of other publishers belong to them and are shown with credit and a link to the original. If you own something shown here and want it changed or removed, write to marco@marcorobinson.com with the page address and we will act promptly.
4. Comments
Comments are open to readers of the daily email. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or that gives away someone’s private information; do not advertise or post links; do not pretend to be someone else. We may remove any comment and close commenting to anyone, without notice. By posting you allow us to display your comment on the site for as long as it stays up.
5. The daily email
The daily email is free, is sent only to addresses that confirmed, and may contain sponsored blocks that are marked as such. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every edition.
6. Ad space
- You may book a sponsor place for a monthly fee. The price is shown on the advertising page and charged through Stripe.
- Every banner is reviewed before it is shown. We may ask for changes or decline a banner for any reason. If we decline it, the subscription is cancelled and the payment refunded.
- Your banner and the page it links to must be yours to use, lawful and not misleading, and must follow the rules on the advertising page. You give us the right to display the banner on this site, and you confirm you have the rights to give that.
- Banners are marked “Sponsored” and take turns with other sponsors. We do not promise any number of views or clicks, or any business result.
- The place renews each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your receipt email, and the banner runs to the end of the paid month. Fees already paid are not refunded except as stated above or where the law requires.
- We may pause or remove a banner that later proves unlawful, misleading or in breach of these terms.
7. Advertising and sponsored content
The site may show adverts and sponsored cards, which are marked. We are not responsible for the products, services or websites of advertisers or of the publishers of paid articles; your dealings with them are between you and them.
8. Using the site fairly
Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site; do not collect its content by automated means for republication or for training software without our written permission; do not use it to break the law. Our own reports, design and software are ours and are protected by copyright; you may link to them and quote a short passage with credit and a link.
9. No warranty, and our liability
The site is provided as it is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties about it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss arising from reliance on anything published here. Where we are liable to a paying customer, our total liability is limited to the amount that customer paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Changes, law and contact
We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and its courts have jurisdiction, except where the consumer law of your own country gives you rights that cannot be signed away. Questions: marco@marcorobinson.com. Our privacy policy is part of these terms.
