Isabella Strahan, the 20-year-old daughter of television host Michael Strahan, has shared a health update six months after being declared cancer-free, ABC News reported. Strahan has now resumed her academic studies at the University of Southern California after pausing her education during medical treatment. [1]

According to ABC News, Strahan was diagnosed in October 2023 with medulloblastoma, a fast-growing cancerous brain tumor that develops in the cerebellum. The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor center notes that the cerebellum coordinates physical movement. She had first begun experiencing health symptoms while attending her freshman year at the university in the autumn of 2023. [1]

In an interview with People magazine, Strahan discussed her recovery and returning to her daily routine, ABC News reported. She stated that returning to her studies feels like starting over and returning to where she originally began prior to her medical diagnosis. [1]

Her father, Michael Strahan, is a former professional football player who spent 15 seasons with the New York Giants and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014. He currently works as a co-anchor on Good Morning America and serves as an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday. [8][10]
