An 11-year-old pug named Poppy was safely rescued by Aaron Yavuz in the Munlochy area after being missing for three days and two nights, the Ross-shire Journal reported. [1]

Poppy originally ran away while off her lead with a dog walker, according to the Ross-shire Journal. Throughout the time she was missing, only one sighting of the dog was reported despite widespread search efforts by the community. [1]

The Ross-shire Journal reported that Yavuz spotted Poppy by chance out of a home window near the Kirk & Co cafe in Munlochy. He immediately went outside and scooped up the dog to return her safely. [1]

Owner Lauren Fraser expressed relief after the rescue, stating that losing the pet felt like losing a member of the family, the Ross-shire Journal reported. The family has called Yavuz a hero and saviour for bringing Poppy home. [1]
