A stray dog named Rover was rescued in Texas and adopted by a family on an Iowa farm within 48 hours, iHeartDogs.com reported. The rescue was made possible through cooperation between local residents, veterinary supporters, and animal rescue organizations. [1]

According to iHeartDogs.com, Rover was initially found roaming between two ranches outside Valley Mills, Texas. Local residents intervened to help the animal, ensuring he would no longer have to fend for himself on the streets. [1]

A partner rescue organization agreed to cover Rover's veterinary expenses, while a volunteer foster provider housed him temporarily. Rover stayed in the foster home until he was neutered and space opened up at Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels. [1]

Rover was subsequently connected with an adoptive family residing on a farm in Iowa, hundreds of miles from where he was found, through support from Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels and the iHeartDogs Hero VIPs program. [1]
