A new school bus service has begun transporting boys from Madinat Salman to the Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa Secondary Technical School. News of Bahrain reported that the service was introduced after parents faced months of difficulty getting their sons to classes on time. [1]

Before the buses were introduced, the lack of regular transportation left parents responsible for daily travel. According to News of Bahrain, some pupils struggled to arrive in time for morning assembly and their opening lessons. [1]

The travel issue was addressed after Member of Parliament Waleed Al Doseri brought parent complaints to Education Minister Dr Mohammed Juma. News of Bahrain reported that the minister instructed ministry staff to evaluate how many pupils required transport and to arrange the bus routes. [1]
