Professional skateboarder Bam Margera has reached over two years of sobriety following a long period of public struggles with substance abuse, Shredder News reported. Margera credited his recovery to his wife, Dannii Marie, alongside his return to skateboarding. [1]

According to Shredder News, Margera faced major setbacks due to addiction, which affected his professional career and resulted in his removal from the film Jackass Forever in 2022. He also endured severe physical health crises when he was hospitalized with COVID-19 and pneumonia, suffering multiple seizures before waking up on life support. [1]

Margera gained national prominence in the early 2000s as one of the stars of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass and its spin-off feature films. He later created television shows including Viva La Bam and directed the 2003 film Haggard. [2]

His personal difficulties also included the loss of his close friend and fellow Jackass performer Ryan Dunn, who died in a car crash in 2011, Shredder News reported. [1]
