Mail Carrier Saves Collapsed Wichita Woman During Lawn Mowing Incident

A Wichita woman named Linda Avila is crediting a United States Postal Service mail carrier with saving her life after a sudden medical emergency outside her home, KWCH reported. Avila was mowing her lawn when she began feeling faint. She managed to push her lawnmower up to her house before collapsing on her second step. [1]

According to KWCH, a mail carrier named Kendra noticed that something was wrong while driving her route. Kendra turned her postal truck around immediately to render aid. She then alerted a neighbor named Christy, who is a trained nurse, telling her that Avila urgently needed medical help. [1]

Christy responded to the call for help and brought a blood pressure cuff to assist Avila, KWCH reported. Avila expressed her deep gratitude for the swift response, stating that she could have died if the mail carrier had not intervened so quickly. [1]
