A Chesterfield Township man escaped harm on Sunday night after a vehicle crashed directly into his condominium, according to Macomb Daily and WXYZ 7 News Detroit. Michael Pingel was sitting on his couch watching the Detroit Lions play the Green Bay Packers when the football team called a timeout, prompting him to walk into his kitchen moments before the impact. The incoming vehicle crashed through the exterior wall of the home and came to a stop just feet away from where Pingel had been sitting moments earlier, Macomb Daily reported.
