A three-year-old girl named Keira reunited on Tuesday with the Los Angeles firefighters who saved her life after a pool incident, Patch reported. Keira joined her parents at a Los Angeles Fire Department ceremony that honored seven members of Fire Station 86 from Studio City. [1]

The emergency occurred on May 9 when firefighters received a report of a child pulled from a swimming pool, according to Patch. Fire crews arrived within four minutes of the call and located the young girl lying beside the pool without a pulse and not breathing. [1]

Paramedics began emergency care within five minutes of the initial emergency call, Patch reported. The team performed lifesaving efforts that successfully revived the child before the recent honors ceremony. [1]
