An online fundraising campaign has been established to support Kaylub Giamanco, who intervened to end a school shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon. TMZ reported that local businesswoman Amy Reynolds started the GoFundMe campaign to assist Giamanco and his family. Local police confirmed across several news reports from WBMA, WSMH, KFOX, KMPH Fox 26, KHGI, and KOKH that an armed civilian shot and killed the gunman. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

The gunman, identified as a 16-year-old, had already killed four people at the school before Giamanco intervened. TMZ reported that Reynolds organized the financial support because Giamanco faces a challenging period following the incident, despite acting bravely to protect others during the attack. [1]
