Search and rescue operations resumed in the Beqir Dardha neighborhood of Elbasan, Albania, after a powerful explosion damaged a building, Balkanweb.com reported. Emergency teams worked on the ground to locate 69-year-old Hamit Ibro, a father of four who was trapped under the rubble. Sixteen personnel were deployed to the site during the operation, according to Balkanweb.com. [1]

The Commander of the Civil Emergency and Support Base, Colonel Hajdar Gurra, announced the resumption of operations following a temporary interruption, Balkanweb.com and Gazeta Sot reported.
