An entrepreneur and dog lover has developed a weather service called Weather.pet tailored specifically for dogs, Good News Network reported. The service broadcasts tens of thousands of reports to users every month. It provides weather conditions calculated specifically at the physical height of a dog's head and paws to assist pet owners with planning safe daily walks. [1]

Good News Network reported that the app, which features a tool called Pawcast, delivers surface temperature readings for asphalt, grass, and concrete. The app also accounts for specific variations in weather impact based on dog breeds, body size, and coat length. During a pet conference in Fort Worth, the creator used an infrared thermometer to measure asphalt temperatures that reached 131 degrees Fahrenheit. [1]
