The Center for Human Development Public Health Team conducted a drive-through influenza vaccination clinic in La Grande, Oregon, on October 12, 2026. Elkhorn Media Group reported that the event, named Operation Rapid Route, provided 59 seasonal flu vaccinations to Union County residents. [1]

positional The clinic operated from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Bi-Mart parking lot, according to Elkhorn Media Group. It functioned as a Point of Dispensing exercise to test public health emergency capabilities. [1]

Elkhorn Media Group noted that the exercise allowed public health staff and local community partners to practice procedures for distributing medication on a large scale during a public health emergency. [1]
