Munn was diagnosed with multifocal, multi-quadrant bilateral breast cancer when her son Malcolm was one year old, according to Extra. Following her diagnosis, she underwent four surgeries, including a double mastectomy. She shares two young children, Malcolm and Méi, with her husband John Mulaney. [1]

Munn previously worked as a television host for G4 and as a correspondent on The Daily Show. Her acting career includes roles in the films Iron Man 2, Magic Mike, and X-Men: Apocalypse, as well as playing news producer Sloan Sabbith in the HBO drama series The Newsroom. [3][4]
