HEROIC BREAKING NEWS, written by our newsroom0 views

Scientists in a mountainous region of southern Norway have recovered 48 arrowheads and shafts from ancient eras, Good News Network reported. The discovery occurred during the 20th year of an ongoing glacial survey project. The effort is organized and conducted in partnership between the Innlandet County of Norway and the Oslo Cultural Museum. [1]
According to Good News Network, the recovered artifacts were made from various materials across different historical eras. The lack of oxygen inside the glacial ice prevents the formation of bacteria, which kept some of the objects so well preserved that they appear as if they were crafted recently. [1]
Archaeology involves surveying, excavation, and analyzing material culture such as artifacts and sites to learn about past human activity. An arrowhead is the sharpened tip of an arrow that provides most of the projectile mass for penetrating targets. [2][3]
