Falcons beat Saints 45 to 24 led by five Robinson touchdowns

The Atlanta Falcons defeated the New Orleans Saints 45 to 24 in New Orleans on Monday, UPI News, ESPN, and WLBT reported. Running backs Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson Jr. combined for five touchdowns during the game. The result brought Atlanta to a two-and-two record for the season under quarterback Michael Penix Jr. [1][4][5]

UPI News reported that Bijan Robinson scored on a 59-yard run on his first carry of the game. The running back produced 147 of the 420 total yards gained by the Falcons and scored the first two touchdowns of the game. Robinson told reporters after the game that it was a great win, but stated that the team must keep getting better. [1]

According to UPI News and WLBT, backup running back Brian Robinson Jr. gained 67 yards from scrimmage and scored three touchdowns. Together, the two running backs provided five of the touchdowns for Atlanta during the division victory. [1][5]

Before the game, the Atlanta Falcons announced that the team elevated player Jammie Robinson for the game against the Saints. Both of the Falcons wins this season have come under quarterback Michael Penix Jr., according to UPI News. [1][3]
